This blunt-tipped cannula is considered less traumatic than a traditional sharp needle and can reduce the risk of bruising and swelling. It is commonly used in facial aesthetic procedures for dermal filler administration. Arterial Cannula: An arterial cannula is placed into an artery to monitor blood pressure continuously or to collect blood samples for analysis. It is commonly used in critical care settings and during certain surgical procedures. The choice of cannula depends on the medical procedure, the patient's condition, and the goals of treatment.
